Location: Tumbledown Mountain, Weld, Maine
Weather:60’s with lots of sun. Blue skies, clouds, and a light cool breeze at the top.
Observation: Spring collides with winter near the top of Timbledown Mountain. I enjoyed a fun, impromptu rock climb and towing the line between oh shit falling is not an option, this is totally amazing doable I think, and you got this. Patience and slowing down, figuring out where to put your hand or foot next because depending on where you go some things are closer to my reach and others are no longer possible. Important for yesterday’s climb and life overall. Though, I totally think if I just had a go, go gadget arm or tool. Then again, maybe sometimes I do, but the tools just look different. Kudos to the couple who joined us on the climb as we talked each other through staying safe and reaching the top. Because sometimes the only way up is to get off the trail and find your own damn route!
