Hi, I'm Jlynn Frazier.
Welcome to my adventure life!

For many, Maine is "vacationland" and "the way life should be." To me, Maine is this and so much more. Maine is my outdoor playground for exploration, play, adventure, and creative expression.

I have adventured in 5 of 7 continents, run a marathon, climbed mountains including Half Dome in Yosemite National Park (which was totally epic). I recently attempted to summit Mt. Katahdin in the winter (Maine's largest peak). After exclaiming that I wanted to spend two full weeks in Iceland. Jared and I did. It was awesome! Where will my next two-week adventure be...  ?

As much as I love the challenge of "epic adventures"  I thrive on the simple moments to explore my local surroundings, walk along streams, run on trails, and soak in the beauty of the natural world.

Adventure is at the core of who I am. I believe outdoor adventure is a state of being and that it is for everyone. I work a “9 to 5” like many people do and I covet my time to get outside, stay active, travel, and keep close to nature on a daily basis.

My love for being physically active began as a young child. My curiosity for traveling and exploring began much later. In college I spent a semester abroad in Australia. My dad took me out and bought me my first digital camera (a Sony Cybershot) so that I could capture my experiences and share pictures with them while I was away. It was an amazing adventure and stirred up a curiosity and excitement for exploring and capturing the amazing beauty of the natural world. I have now self funded adventures in 5 of the 7 continents.

Writing and photography is very personal to me as they are two essential tools that tell my own story and share experiences as I embark on a variety of adventures in Maine and beyond.  Adventure is really at my core. Throughout my adventures, I create and share images to  spark your own curiosity and provide support to pursue your adventure life. I hope to encourage you to pause for a moment, admire the clouds, climb the mountain, gaze at the stars, travel to the destination you have always wanted to visit, or just get out to explore your own backyard.
