Iceland: The land of sheep

Jlynn Frazier

I captured a small collection of images of the Icelandic Sheep over the two weeks I spent road tripping in Iceland. I became so used to them that sometimes I didn’t notice right away. One such instance involves a roadside pit stop to do my thing. I was so focused on what I was doing (as most women know this can be a little more challenging for us then for men) that I noticed as I finished (pants still around my ankles) that a herd of sheep were grazing and a few of them sat close by just watching me as if they were curious about the crazy lady who came rushing into the field. Other times, they were near the road and I was able to get fairly close to capture the humor of the moment. It is safe to say at least a few “why did the sheep cross the road” type jokes emerged. Trust me they were not very good, so rather than tell them to you I will let the images do the talking and encourage you to come up with your own joke or caption for them.
