Pathways & Possibilities: Start in the Middle

Jlynn Frazier

We are at the mid point in the year! Yahoo. Now that my new page is here, it seemed like the perfect time to start bringing you a weekly blog post that provides a glimpse of what has been "top of mind" each week. With so many social channels it can be hard to digest all of the AWESOME going on in the world. So without further ado here are a few of the things that got be all jazzed up.

  • Learning through experience is the best way to learn. At least I think so. I truly believe that adventure is a state of being and a way of putting experience first and foremost. Check out this Maine family who spent two months on a cross country road trip. AWESOME!

  •  According to Elle Luna, "There are two paths in life: Should and Must. We arrive at this crossroads over and over again. And each time, we get to choose." I dove into Luna's new book The Crossroads of Should and Must: Find and Follow Your Passion. So far I am loving it! I will share more on that soon, but to give you a sense, here is the article she posted on Medium that started it all.

  • Harriette Thompson is 92 years old, and is now the oldest women to finish a marathon. Wonderful inspiration to take on any challenge no matter how old you are. Did you know that the first wednesday in June is designated as National Running Day (June 3). Running is one of my favorite ways to get outside, move, and challenge myself both physically and mentally. Will I be running at 92 ... I sure hope so!

  • In case you missed it, I recently shared a funny little series of images in honor of my adventure dog James turning 5. Silly.... yup it sure is but I find taking time to capture the little moments are just as important as the big ones. I hope this makes you chuckle.
Look down! I noticed this round speckled rock that stood out to me from the others on a recent hike. Whether walking down the street or to/from your car, take a moment to notice what is right in front of you (even if just for a moment).
