Incubating can happen anytime you give yourself the gift of time to reflect and relax, to honor stillness and silence.

I love the spirit of the holiday season and it didn't feel right to step away without sending this out to say happy holidays, happy end of 2017, and to share that I am taking off on a social media hiatus.

Yup, that's right. If you are reading this by email then it's December 1 and the start of my month-long social media hiatus. I have been wrestling with wanting to do something like this for a while and now feels like the right time. When you know you know ... off I go...

This means that you will not see me or hear from me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or here on the blog. I am creating a comfy incubation period and much-needed space for unfolding possibilities. Not to worry, I'll be back to check in the first of the year and can share what makes sense at that time.

Grateful for adventures and that I was able to get this image of James and I hiking Cranberry Peak in the Bigelow Range. I call it a selfie-portrait (or something like that).

But before I sign off, I wanted to be sure to wish you a wonderful December. For many, this becomes a busy holiday month. For me, this time of year is about play, joy, kindness, and giving. My one holiday wish that I am sending out myself and to you- my family, friends, and community- is to consider giving to support people and causes that matter to you. We need to take care of each other and we all have something to give.

See you in 2018!
