A new day. The sun rose again bringing with it the start of a new year. 2018 is here! So much celebration and joy and expectation leading up to the start of a new year and then, just like that—poof it's here.

I love the idea of starting anew, particularly the start of a new year. Each day of course is a new day, each moment a new moment to choose again. But, a particularly powerful reset button comes with the start of the new year.

As some of you might know, I took a social media hiatus the month of December. It was something I had been talking with as I struggled with frustrations around social media and wanting to take a step back. I was worried about not feeling connected, especially during the holidays, so I made a "final" end of year post to wish everyone well, deleted apps and you know what happened—I felt relief and an powerful sense of calm.

I have still not crept back onto social channels yet, because I am going to be making some big changes and want to focus on the building first. So, here I am reclaiming this space to create and share my ways of seeing and experiencing the world with you.

I'm feeling such energy and can feel the powerful vibrations that so many are sending out for themselves and those they love for a happy new year. I am right there with you and so excited to be back here. I may step away from time to time but I am back and committed to sharing my creative, adventure living experiences with you.
