My first e-book Iceland Adventure is here!

Jlynn Frazier

My first e-book Iceland Adventure launched July 1 and it is free through July 5. The book is a collection of photographs from the two week trip paired with captions to share a piece of the adventure with you.

The mission of the trip was pretty simple: to go on a grand adventure and travel the Ring Road (and beyond) in a small white camper van. The Ring Road is 1,332-kilometers (828-miles) and we estimate we traveled nearly 2,000 to include a number of detours down routes and f-roads.

As we made our way around the Ring Road we found ourselves quickly making detours, including our first full day in Iceland. Where did we go? You will have to read the book! I can tell you we spent time venturing down rough dirt roads and across mountain passes to catch glimpses of snowcapped volcanoes, hidden waterfalls, and imposing glaciers. We saw a lot of sheep grazing in fields, and sometimes crossing the road in front of us!

I hope you will get your copy of Iceland Adventure which is free through July 5 (after it will be $2.99). I would love your thoughts and help to get this book out to your friends and family so share a link and let me know what you think on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or by emailing me at jlynn@jfrazierphotography.com

Consume Experiences: Ignite Curiosity

Jlynn Frazier

It all begins with curiosity.

My big trip of 2015 was spent exploring Iceland for two whole weeks. Two weeks is a substantial amount of time, yet it went by so quickly. In a blink I was back in Maine, back to "my day job," and the routines of home. It was bitter sweet to return home as it always is. I love to go and I love to come home.

On one of the final days in Iceland, I wrote at the top of my journal "Follow the spark of curiosity" and this came pouring out:

What if... we moved a little slower. We pushed less, did less. We paused to think and kept it simple. What if ... we focused on meaning, we travelled, we explored. We loved hard. We did it now. We laughed and played everyday. What if ... we chose adventure. We focused on experiences, we rid of the excess. We lived. We were happy.

Dream big dreams. Ignite curiosity. Consume experiences. Live great stories.

Cheers to you and to all of the adventures the new year shall bring.
