Stumbling down the bank I peeked through the vegetation at the pond. I received a brief nod from a fly fisherman and I nodded back. Both turning back to our own creative pursuits as we enjoyed the beauty of this place. I walked along the bank peeking through the leaves capturing the beauty of the setting sun.

Iceland is a waterfall heaven. We arrived in between large groups in the early morning and I spent a good part of the morning hours photographing the falls. It was fun to get close, walk up and around across the bridge and back. My version of creative play is following my curiosities to capture the beauty of nature. This doesn't just happen from one quick shot. The image emerges from a series of many (many, many) shots as I work through, in, and around the landscape.
Curiosity and play unleashes the creative spirit within. Give it all the time you can!
During winter months the ocean is often the only open water in Maine. I enjoy seeking out a winter micro adventure to watch and listen as the waves move and flow across the rocks before crashing on the shore.
