A series of images combined to capture this shot of a waterfall in Iceland. It was cold, the wind had picked up, and the spray continued to cover my face and lens. After a series of tries I managed to capture a sense of the falls and the flow of the water right below me.
I HOPE TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO PAUSE FOR A MOMENT,
ADMIRE THE CLOUDS, CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN, GAZE AT THE STARS,
TRAVEL TO THE DESTINATION YOU HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO VISIT,
OR JUST GET OUT TO EXPLORE YOUR OWN BACKYARD.

Iceland is a waterfall heaven. We arrived in between large groups in the early morning and I spent a good part of the morning hours photographing the falls. It was fun to get close, walk up and around across the bridge and back. My version of creative play is following my curiosities to capture the beauty of nature. This doesn't just happen from one quick shot. The image emerges from a series of many (many, many) shots as I work through, in, and around the landscape.
Curiosity and play unleashes the creative spirit within. Give it all the time you can!
Spring opens up the earth and provides us with powerful, seasonal waterfalls. Many waterfalls are small enough to get up close to experience: touch the water, climb along the falls, listen to the water flow by, and admire the beauty of the day.
